Reading the Room

installation
print

Reading the Room is a series of minimal site interventions conducted in collaboration with Angela Lorenzo to explore the ways to define Fletcher 409, a graduate crit room. Over the course of four weeks, the room became a site to explore references to critique and artistic practice generated by arrangements in space. This included a staging of chair arrangements, a performance of recorded sounds, walls of tacks (that were there before.) Documentation of the installations were compiled in an indexed reference of spacially self-referential work.
